- Webspace using your personal internet service
provider. Many people don't know that they have webspace available
to them simply because they have internet service. This depends on the
service from your provider but often a person, church, or small business
allready has the space needed for their web presence. Contact your provider
to find out how much space is available with your current account. In
many instances, 2 to 5 megabytes will hold your site and more space can
be obtained if needed. Should you need help in determining

- Your own domain name (YourName.com, YourName.org,
YourName.us, etc.) if the internet address reflects your site's identity
or purpose, your visitors will remember how to get back to your site.
Example: Verizon includes webspace to its internet customers but your
URL might be something like http://home1.verizon.net/username/index.html.
When a web surfer comes across your site after a day of traveling in cyberspace,
your site's address might not be remembered tomorrow unless the surfer
adds it to his 'Favorites'. Addresses like www.yahoo.com,
stick in the mind. Remember that visitors usually don't bookmark a website
until their second or third visit.

Once your domain name is established, you need to secure space on a hosting
