Is the Web really World

Who Can Be On the Web?
Benefits of having a Web presence
Our Clients
Bear in mind that the World Wide Web is not an inanimate object. Rather, it is an assembly of contributions by human beings, real people. It doesn't reach Tuscaloosa because the robots took over. It can't offer services without real people to back it up. When you use the internet to send flowers, there has to be a florist as well as the technical gurus that connect you to him. The Internet is a reflection of the real world and a wonderful tool to use for interaction, learning, and offering what you have to give.
On the Internet you will find nationwide, even worldwide services but this doesn't discount the place for local services. In fact, more and more local entities enter the Web as awareness of the Web becomes commonplace.
On your favorite search engine (Yahoo, Google, Lycos, etc.), type in 'your local city, Chamber of Commerce'. They probably have a website with links to local businesses, organizations, churches, public facilities, etc. You may be amazed at how many local entities have a presence on the web. Watch service trucks driving down your streets and see their websites advertised next to their phone numbers. There are even sites for families and individuals.
Who is on the Web? This is a question with an ever expanding answer. Seek and you shall find. Then tomorrow, a new idea will pop into your head, then seek again and probably you will find again. The internet is likely to be larger than your imagination. Let your mind open up to it and it will unfold to you each day. You will find more there the more you look. And soon, perhaps people may find you. That is why Websentia is here.
